We have many children (4 to be exact) and we live in Chicago so we get mudd, snow, sleet, rain and even sand in the summer all over the carpet. We are seriously considering ripping out the carpet and putting in wide plan hardwood floors, has anyone done this in Chicago with children? We are looking for something that has great appeal but won't run us dry on funds! Thanks so much!
